This was one of those attractions that you see a lot of signs for but you are not to sure if its something for you... like, eh? it sorta sounds fun right? Okay, so here is the skinny, it is fun for like 2 hours but then it just kind of fizzles out and you are ready to move on.
Couple of things to consider, think about or know.
1. They turn your pockets inside out once you actually get in the park. $20 for a ticket, $2 for the train, $5 for picture with this animal, $5 for picture another animal, $10 to wrestle a gator another $10 if you want a picture wrestling the gator (you sit on it's back with it's mouth taped shut.
2. You need to be a woods type person to enjoy it.
3. The shows are entertaining and should not be missed.
4. The food is so-so... you might want to eat before or after.
5. Depending on which way you go to get there you pass by the Tupperware World HQ which then may require a stop by your wife.
6. Soda (or "Pop" for you northern's) is at least $2 so bring fluids with you.
7. Don't plan an entire day around this... it just won't work... this is great thing for a half day.
Talk and discuss Gatorland here!
