In honor of moms everywhere, Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando will celebrate Mother’s Day with special brunches that feed the body as well as the spirit. To mark the twentieth anniversary of their Good Neighbor program, Loews will give moms at their Mother’s Day brunches a gift card to help fund educational projects through the hotel chain’s new charitable partner, DonorsChoose.org. This web-based non-profit supports public schools in need.

As part of its Good Neighbor program, Loews Hotels recently announced its commitment to improving public education through a new partnership. DonorsChoose.org is a non-profit website that provides a forum for public school teachers to post their classroom needs and special project requests, such as books, materials or transportation fees. Donors can then choose to sponsor one or more of these projects. As the first hotel partner for DonorsChoose.org, Loews Hotels will raise awareness of the charity throughout the country with events and brand-wide promotions.
The culinary teams at Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort are planning spectacular Mother’s Day brunch menus, complete with entertainment by Universal characters, face painters and musicians. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel offers a taste of ‘la dolce vita’ – the sweet life – complete with strolling musicians during their Mother’s Day champagne brunch. Trattoria del Porto will be featuring a brunch menu of herb-roasted beef strip loin, stuffed veal breast, veal osso bucco, seared Arctic char, Tuscan bread tomato soup, omelets and crepes to order, risotto and pasta stations, plus cakes, pies, tortes and desserts in a shot glass.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort offers a tropical paradise setting, where moms can relax, unwind and be pampered on Mother’s Day. The Islands Dining Room Mother’s Day brunch will feature prime rib, mahi mahi, pan-roasted duck, dried fruit-stuffed Palmetto Creek pork, sushi and stir fry stations, plus omelet and waffle stations and an array of freshly-baked breads, pastries, cakes, pies and tortes. A complimentary glass of champagne is included for adults.
