Excitement continues to build up to the opening of Universal Orlando’s newest addition in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on June 18^th. An official press release came out this week from Universal Orlando Resort with some exciting information and a preview into what could be one of the most exciting theme park experiences ever created.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is one of three themed rides set for a grand opening at Islands of Adventure on June 18^th. This experience is at the heart of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.   It will introduce guests to a one of a kind adventure that combines the powerful storyline from the books and movies and immerses them with spectacular new technology.

Exciting features have been announced and a rundown of what guests can expect on this 360-degree movie simulation experience. You’ll feel like you’re traveling through Hogwarts itself side by side with Harry, Ron and Hermione. The ride will take you through moments taken out of the movies such as soaring over Hogwarts castle with Harry Potter himself. You can also experience flying high during a Quidditch match or feel the chilling effect of a Dementor. You’ll experience these and other Harry Potter related locations including Dumbledore’s office, Hogwarts castle classrooms and more.

All of this can be experience this summer starting on June 18^th at Islands of Adventure theme park inside of the Universal Orlando Resort.
